Burn the Earth is a song by Dethklok.
History[]
"Burn the Earth" was the first song recorded with Dethklok's new water analog format, with the master track being composed of water. However, the original master was lost when Dethklok, intoxicated, used the water for various things, such as drinking the tracks, watering the plants with the drum tracks, replacing the water in the fish tank with the bass tracks, and making Ramen noodles with Skwisgaar's solo. The song was later rerecorded and put onto the Dethalbum II.
Music video[]
The music video for "Burn the Earth" was briefly seen in "Dethvengeance", and the full video is used for live performances. The band members are shown in a format similar to the music video of "Briefcase Full of Guts", in which they appear as shadows (but their mouths and eyes can be seen), and are in a tight formation. Various places are seen going from alive and fine to dead and decaying due to a green gas that appears. This is based on the water analog format, which is highly toxic, using nuclear waste to record the tracks on water.
