The Whale is the blue humpback that spoke to Dethklok’s lead singer in his dreams, guiding him for quite some time. Although, before they were introduced to the Prophecy, Nathan had kept the fact that he’d been having these visions from his friends, due to the incredulous nature of it all. It was only when the Church of the Black Klok’s High Holy Priest, Ishnifus reassured him of her existence, that things became much clearer to Nathan.
Speaking with an ethereal, echoing voice, she told him that the album they’d completed did not contain the right message to the world: Dethklok will have to release “the appropriate one;” Dethklok will need to write one last song that’ll be both humanity’s and their own salvation.
In Army of the Doomstar, she plays a bigger role, Informing Nathan Explosion to write the Song of Salvation during his drug fueled vision, and asking if he will be the fist or the hand. She is revealed to be the reason why Salacia doesn't go in water as at the end of the movie after he proclaims that only a god could kill him, She jumps out of the water and Eats him alive, killing him and dragging him into the ocean where he will never be seen again, This gets rid of the Tribunal for good as Crozier stopped working for him and most of the other members got Sacrificed for his ritual.
